What is a divemaster

Somone who can:

• work at local dive centers, on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort locations
• Assist PADI Instructors with students
• Lead PADI Scuba Divers on guided dive tours
• Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers
• Teach PADI Discover Snorkeling programs
• Conduct PADI Scuba Review programs for certified divers
• Lead certified divers on Discover Local Diving experiences
• Teach Emergency First Response programs after successful completion of an Emergency First Response Instructor course.

Paul isn't a dive instructor yet as he is keeping a career path open for the future, the amount of trainning past divemaster is a lifestyle change and a commitment, since the skills you learn and the information you posses is slowly eroded without use.

Reasons to dive with paul

• If you know him, it'll reduce the stress of diving with someone you don't know
• Fun to go diving with
• Safe to go diving with
• lazy diver - so no having to swim much
• Knowledgeable in many dive sites
• Experienced

If that's not enough to get you to go diving with paul then you should just try it for the hell of it! many people he's spoken to in the past have had some bad experiences diving with dive companies, Paul will only work with companies he has been diving with before who have Saftey, Respect for the Ocean and Fun on their list.

What if you Can't dive yet?

not a problem, you can learn to dive, this can be arranged for you to work with a certified instructor in your own language.
